Preparing for Moscow!

Tomorrow morning really early I leave by car to the airport of Münster. Together with 3 friends I will fly to Moscow, to visit the city and to go to the world sprint championships speedskating. We will arrive in Moscow in the late afternoon on thursday. On friday we will do some sightseeing, to see the red square, the Kremlin and some other sights! Saturday and Sunday we will support our favorite speedskaters and hope for a great and exciting championship! Monday we will leave in the late afternoon back home.

At this moment I am packing my suitcase for this weekend, but I am not quite sure what to take with me... I wanted to pack my backpack but I hurt my shoulder last weekend, so I had to take my suitcase. I also have to make a decision on if I take a daypack or just a bag..

I am happy that the visa and other formalities are already done. We applied for visa at the visumdienst in Amsterdam. I also had my Indian and Nepali visa there, so I knew how they worked etc. It took only 1 week to get our visa. That was quite quick because on the internet they said it took much longer, but probably they did not use a visa agency!

In Moscow I only have to try to get tickets for the world sprint championships, but I had some mailcontact and the said it would be no problem to buy it there. Russia will be my 30th country that I have visited in the world and I am excited to go to a new country and new city
